Earth Garden Festival

2 – 4 June 2023

If you’re looking for an authentic festival vibe, look no further than Earth Garden

Held annually at the National Park, Earth Garden is Malta’s most prominent alternative festival and has attracted thousands of visitors since its inception in 2007. 

This festival has been voted as one of the top 20 festivals in Europe twice — for good reason!

There are five stages, satisfying every musical craving and taste — Hip-Hop, House, Techno, 

Psychedelic Trance, and Drum and Bass to Ska, Dub, Funk, Reggae, and World Music.

The itinerary includes daily workshops and talks at the Healing Fields, while the Ethnic Market offers a rich cultural experience. 

There’s also a  Kids’ Fun Park, ensuring the little ones are entertained too. 

 

Malta International Arts Festival 

16 – 25 June 2023

The Malta International Arts Festival (MIAF) is a mesmerising display of various artistic forms, running over two weeks in June. 

Set against the backdrop of Malta’s remarkable heritage sites, this festival brings together some of the best local and foreign talents with the island’s most breathtaking heritage sites.

The MIAF itinerary includes performances spanning diverse disciplines, including music, visual arts, theatre, dance, opera, installations, films, and community projects.

The Malta International Wine Festival 

21 – 25 June 2023

Malta International Food Festival 2023

19 – 25 July 2023

The Malta International Food Festival is Malta’s largest food event, welcoming over 50,000 visitors.

The 7-day event features food from all over the world, yet it isn’t just about eating and drinking. 

 

This festival aims to promote the diverse culture of the local and seasonal produce, supporting its producers. You’ll enjoy a perfect night out in Valletta’s Pjazza Tritoni, surrounded by a myriad of tastes and flavours while being entertained with live performances by some of Malta’s top talents. 

There is a range of additional children’s activities, too, making it the perfect event for all the family. 

Entrance to the festival is €2, while children enter for free. 

The Malta Beer Festival 

27 July – 05 August 2023

The Malta Beer Festival is back this year, with ten days packed with good beer, food, music, and fun.

Held in Ta’ Qali, this festival, also known as the Farsons Beer Festival, has a special place in the island’s calendar of events. In fact, thousands of visitors flock to this event every year. 

This festival is the perfect event to taste some of the best local and international beers (including alcohol- and gluten-free varieties), sample delicious street food, and listen to some great music — all at once.

Glitch Festival

13 – 16 August 2023 

Electronic music enthusiasts worldwide gather in Malta every summer for one of the most highly anticipated events — the Glitch Festival.

This year’s event will be the 6th edition of the festival and will feature four days of music, partying, raves and more. 

Seven distinct stages await its visitors, including rooftop pool parties, secret underground cave raves, and an unforgettable Boiler Room stage experience. 

The festival will kick off with an opening party beneath the magnificent Valletta bastions, while most of the main events during the festival will take place at the Gianpula Village.
